WASHINGTON, Ind. -- William R. Decker, 69, died Wednesday night at Daviess County Hospital.
He worked 32 years at Crane Naval Surface Warfare Center and seven years at Wal-Mart.
He was a Korean War Army veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Mary (Reynolds); a daughter, Nancy Akins of Bowling Green, Ky.; two sons, Robert and Allen A., both of Washington; a brother, Jack of Washington; and a grandchild.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Poindexter-Hall-McClure Funeral Home, with burial in Sugarland Memory Gardens, where American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars posts will conduct military rites.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. to service time Saturday at the funeral home.
