Funeral service for Sarah Minter Reeder, 87, of Hartselle, will be Sunday, May 08, 2011, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Greg Compton officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight, May 07, 2011, from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Reeder died Friday, May 06, 2011, at Hartselle Medical Center. She was born May 07, 1923, in Morgan County to Raymond Minter and Odessa (Angle) Minter. She was a member of Mount Nebo Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Reeder.
Survivors include three sons, Ronnie Owen Reeder of Decatur,
Jerry Michael Reeder of Huntsville, James Dwayne Reeder of Hartselle; one daughter,
Brenda Reeder Peppers of Decatur; two sisters
Wilodean Whitley of Aimes, Iowa and Hazel Campbell of Decatur; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be grandsons.
