Verna Alvey, 72 of Chino Hills died July 5 at Chino Valley Medical Center She was born in Mercer Co, IL and lived in Chino Hills for the last eight years Mrs Alvey is survived by three sons, Robert L (Ann) Alvey of Carson, Lawrence E (Roberta) Alvey of California City and Gary J (Marcille) Alvey of Healdsdburg; a daughter Carol J (Marshall) Oberg of Chino Hills; three brothers, Howard Kendall of Mascot, TN, and Paul and William Kendall, both of St Petersburg, FL; two sisters Athaleen Meredith of Pleasure Ridge Park, KY, and Doris Kessinger of St Petersbrug, FL; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren Friends may call from 7pm to 9pm today at Cypress Forest Lawn Mortuary Services will be held at 2:30 pm Friday at Cypress Forest Lawn Chapel. Entombment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Cypress Contributions may be made in Mrs Alvey's memory to one's local Arthritis Foundation or the American Heart Association
