WELL KNOWN RESIDENT OF SOUTHERN PART OF COUNTY DIED SATURDAY
Ill since suffering a stroke last April, Mrs. Claus P. C. Schneider, 65, of south of Blair, died early Saturday afternoon at her home.
She had resided in this vicinity 51 years.
As Christina Catherina Mohr, she was born August 29, 1872 in Ransberg, Germany, and came to America in 1887. She was married to Mr. Schneider in 1895.
Surviving besides her husband are three sons, Carl and Claus, jr., both of Kennard, and Paul at home; three daughters, Mrs. Lillie Wrich of Kennard, Mrs. Katharine Mueller of Blair and Mrs. Margaret Timm of Blair; four brothers Carl Mohr of Venice, Nebraska, Ernest of Irvington, George of Bertrand and Claus of Germany; two sisters, Anna and Margaret, both in Germany and eight grandchildren
The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Schneider home, the Campbell mortuary of Blair in charge. The Rev. H. J. Goede, pastor of Bennington’s Lutheran church officiated at the services. Burial followed in the German cemetery.
