Anna Mae Harris, 87, of 4349 S. Ninth St. died at 2 pm Wednesday in Country Side Nursing Center. She was born June 24, 1899, in Sullivan County to William Steele and Agnes Rilenge Steele. Her first husband, Albert Harris, died in 1937, and her second husband, Jesse Harris, died in 1963. Survivors include two sons, Lyle Harris of Terre Haute and Carroll Harris of Center Point; two stepsons, Loren Harris of Indianapolis and Wayne Harris of Sullivan; three stepdaughters, Mable Hadden of Fairbanks, Maxine Abell of Plainfield and Betty Harris of Terre Haute; eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was a member of Prairieton United Methodist Church. Services are scheduled for 1 pm Saturday in DeBaun Funeral Home, with the Rev. Sam Boyll officiating. Burial is in Drake Cemetery at Fairbanks. Visitation is after 4 pm today.
