Mrs. Wolfe, 86, dies today at County Hospital

Mrs. Elizabeth Wolfe, 86. died this morning at the Johnson county hospital after a two year illness. Mrs. Wolfe had resided at 201 North Main street in Franklin.

Mrs. Wolfe was a retired School secretary, having been employed by Franklin schools for 25 years before her retirement in 1960. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Saturday from the Vandivier-Parsley Funeral Home in Franklin with Rev. James Mckinney and Rev. Lee Jarrett officiating.

Burial will be in Franklin's Greenlawn Cemetery and friends may call after 2:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. Wolfe was born June 21, 1887, in Franklin to Nicholas Brown and Sidney (Head) Brown. She was educated in Franklin and married Ralph D. Wolfe on June 29, 1913, in Franklin. Mr. Wolfe died in 1934.

Mrs. Wolfe was a member of Grace United Methodist Church at Franklin Tri Psi Sorority. She is survived by a daughter, Miss. Dora Wolfe; a son, William R. Wolfe of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; two granddaughters; Miss Terrill Wolfe and Mrs. David Monroe, both of Oklahoma City; and a grandson, Gary Wolfe of Phoenix Arizona.
