Services for Erby D. Norman, 82, of New Deal will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in New Deal Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy McGuire, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park under direction of Sanders Funeral Home.
He died at 10:05 a.m. Thursday in Methodist Hospital after a brief illness.
He had lived in New Deal for 70 years. He married Era Exum in 1928 in New Deal. She died in 1982. He was a farmer and a Baptist.
Survivors include two daughters, Dorothy Looney of Abernathy and Juanita Bell of Brownfield; two sons, James of Fresno, Calif., and Thomas of Denton; two sisters, Nell Lyda of Lubbock and Mrs. Ed Esch of Levelland; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Grandsons will be pallbearers.
The family will meet friends from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
