Widely known as Marsh Snook. Mr. Snook was a retired axemaker. Mr. Snook was a Forest Fire Warden and had received a 20-year service plaque for his service. He was also a member of of the Yeagertown Lutheran Church, the I.O. of A. 937, in Yeagertown and the Yeagertown Fire Company.
Mr. Snook married Naomi Elizabeth HACKENBERRY (daughter of Amos and Lovina SWANGER Hackenberry). To this union six children were born: James Lester Snook, Lillian SNOOK Wike, Luella SNOOK Amspacker, Lera SNOOK Miller and C. Floyd Snook and Albert L. Snook.
Pallbearers were Curtis Strickler, Clarence and Franklin Bair, Frank and Walter Woomer and Frank Piecht.
