Janet Bailey Greenhalgh

Janet Bailey Greenhalgh, age 77, loving mother, grandmother and friend, passed away April 10, 2002 in Nephi, Utah.

She was born Sept. 7, 1924 in Nephi, Utah to William and Chloe Amanda Nelson Bailey. She married Clarence Greenhalgh Dec. 14, 1945 in the Manti LDS Temple. He passed away April 19, 1999.

She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held numerous positions including ordinance worker in the Manti Temple, special home teacher with her husband and Sunday School teacher. She was manager of First Security Bank in Nephi and on the Snow College Board of Trustees.

Survived by Betty Jo (Russell) Morgan and Glenn (Peggy) Greenhalgh all of Nephi; Stephen (Dorothy) Greenhalgh of Falls Church, VA; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; sister, Ann Clair Hansen of Cedar City, UT.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, April 15, 2002 in the Nephi 8th Ward, 222 South 100 East. Friends may call Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, 94 West 300 North and at the church from 9:45 to 11:45 a.m. prior to services. The interment will be in the Vine Bluff Cemetery, Nephi, Utah.
