Howard Trenton "Trent" Burke, 70, died peacefully at home Dec. 1, 2008, in Show Low. Trent was born in Lakeside and lived there until joining the Air Force.

He was a hard worker and a dedicated husband and father. He had a passion for the outdoors and loved to be in the mountains or the desert with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Patti; five daughters, Tera, Jona, Dana, Kara and Mandi; and three sons, Matt, Josh, and Jonathan; as well as 43 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

A viewing will be held Friday, Dec. 5, at the LDS Downtown Chapel in Show Low from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 6, at 11 a.m. at the LDS Downtown Chapel in Show Low.

A viewing will be held before the funeral Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Relief Society Room. Interment will be at the Show Low City Cemetery.
