She was born in Burkeville (Spears Chapel Community) and was the daughter of Hester Ann McMahon and William Madison Hall. Her husband was the late Robert Jefferson Fuller. She and Robert were married in 1891 and she spent all of her married life in Call and was a member of the Methodist Church and The Woodman of the World Circle.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at 4 p.m. in the Call church, with Rev. Lawrence Herbert, pastor, and Rev. J.F. Petty, Baptist minister of Kirbyville officiating. Burial was in Kirbyville Cementery under the direction of Stringer Funeral Home of Kirbyville.
Pallbearers were Joe Pete Fuller, Gerald Clouse, W.H.(Humphy) Hall Jr., Dr. Arthur A. Miller, J.P. Miller Sr., Earl Griner, George Gee, and Dr. John T.Moore.
Survivors besides her son Robert Fuller include her son,
Will Fuller of Beaumont; two daughters, Mrs. Massie Barclay of Call and Mrs. Irene Clouse of Houston; three brothers, William Harrison Hall, Robert Madison Hall and Dr. Henry Stephenson Hall, all of Newton; four sisters, Mrs. Lunetta Marshall, Mrs. James B. (Etta) Kerr, Mrs. Fannie Miller and Miss Ina Hall all of Newton; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Aunt Ida is my great aunt, sister of my grandfather, William Harrison Hall. All of her siblings along with her parents are buried at the Newton City Cemetery in Newton, Texas EXCEPT for two little brothers, John Miles Hall and Thomas Brazier Hall and they were born in Spears Chapel near Burkeville, Texas and buried in the McMahon Cemetery.
The names of Aunt Ida and Uncle Robert's children are:
Edwin Jefferson Fuller
Wyeth Wiley Fuller
Massie Virginia Fuller Barclay
William Harrison Fuller
Harry H.I. Fuller
Robert Lee Fuller
Irene Ruth Fuller Clouse
Her sons Robert and Wiley along with her daughters, Massie and Irene survived her. I am assuming she outlived her other children.
