Rockville, Md., Jan. 14.The funeral of Mrs. Rebecca Thomas Veirs, widow of William A. Veirs, who died Friday at the home of her daughter, Miss Fannie Veirs, in Washington, was held this afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jane Bradey, in Rockville. The services were conducted by the Rev. Millard F. Minnick, and burial was in Rockville Union Cemetery.

Rebecca T. Veirs (1833-1918) An astute businesswoman who recognized Rockvilles potential as a weekend retreat from the City after the B&O arrived, she developed former Beall property on W. Montgomery for rooming houses.
