Mrs. Martha Jastromski
Mrs. Martha Jastromskl, 77, died at 5:20 this morning at St.Michael's Hospital.
Mrs. Jastromski. a resident of the Portage- County Infirmary
for the last year, entered the hospital five weeks ago.
Her residence, before entering the infirmary, was at 612
J Bukolt Ave. Born in Poland on Aug. 30, 1881, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Konkol. At the age of six she came to the United States with her parents. The family settled in the Town of Stockton.She was married on Nov. 14, 1898, at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Catholic C h u r c h, Fancher, to Felix Jastromski, and the couple settled on a farm in Stockton.
Mr. Jastromski died May 28, 1938, and his widow moved to
Stevens Point in 1941.She was a member of the Rosary Society of the Fancher church.
S u r v i v i ng are three sons, John and Chester, Milwaukee, and Alvin, on the family homestead in
Stockton; nine daughters, Mrs. Ben (Susie) Domack, Mrs. Martin (Pauline) Dolski and Mrs. John (Severine) Nowak, Milwaukee, Mrs. Edwin (Ann) Kubisiak, 222 Dixon St., Mrs. Henry (Betty) Schlewski. Waukesha, Mrs. Fred (Berniece) Helminski, Park Ridge, Mrs. Kenneth (Edith) Binnebose,
Fond du Lac, Sister M. Thomasilde, St. Florian's Parsh, Hatley, and Mrs. Ray (Adele) Somers, 523 Church St.; 40 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
There are also seven brothers and two sisters, John Konkol and Anton Konkol, Stoction, Leo Koncol. Town of Amherst, Joseph Konkol, 1049 Portage St., Alex Konkol, 215 Washington Ave. , Ken Konkol, Wausau, and Peter Konkol 430 No. Reserve St., Mrs. Joseph Sopa, Town of Amherst, and Mrs. John Makowski, Arnott. Twin Daughters and a son died in infancy. The funeral will be held Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Peters's Catholic Church, and burial will follow in the Famcher Cemetery.
Friends may call after Tuesday noon at the Dzikoski Funeral Home. A general rosary will be recited there Tuesday night at 7:30, and the Fancher Rosary Society will say the rosary at 8.
