The Rev. Dewey L. Wood, 64, died this morning at Radford Community Hospital. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Nellie Loudermilk Wood; one son, Leslie R. Wood; one daughter, Mrs. Ruby Ayers, Sophia, WV; two brothers, Walter L. Wood, Caldwell, WV, Simon Wood, Dunbar, WV; two sisters, Mrs. Tom Long, Caldwell, WV, Mrs. Nettie Hoover, Romney, WV; a half sister, Mrs. Nellie Alley, Floyd; one grandchild. The funeral will be Saturday, at 2 p.m. at Radford First Pentecostal Holiness Church with burial in the Virginia Conference Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery, Dublin. The Revs. W.W. Carter, Dallas Bennett and S.J. Phillips will conduct the service. The body will remain at DeVilbiss Funeral Home until one hour before the service.
