Esther E."Girlie" Cole Patton, of Pana, formerly of Nokomis. She was born in Fayette County, April 14, 1915, the daughter of Grover Cleveland "Cleve" and Cora Isabelle (Porter) Cole. She married Rufus Robert "Crook" Patton May 14, 1932 and he died Feb. 13, 1966. She is survived by seven sons, three daughters, and one brother, Wayne Cole, 21 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, two sisters, and two grandsons.
