**********************
His first name was Burgoyne, not Bernard, middle name Wallace. I do not know who had the erroneous military headstone installed. He did serve in the Civil War, but he entered from the State of Texas, serving in Company A, 6th Regiment, Texas Cavalry (Wharton, Stone's). He did not enter from the state of Louisiana. On the Civil War index, his first name is spelled Burgoin. His father was James M. Reilly and his mother Kitsy Coon. I haven't located their burial sites yet, but James died in Sequatchie Co., TN, in Sep 1879, and Kitsy before 1850 in either Hickman Co., KY, or Grundy Co., TN. Burgoyne was married to Elizabeth Featherstone on 28 Jun 1868 in Tyler, Smith Co., TX. They had 2 children: William Madison and Leona. I had not yet located Elizabeth's burial site. Any correction would be appreciated.
