Robert C. Arrick, of 340 Hillcrest, Ypsilanti Township, Michigan, age 70, died Monday, November 26, 1984, at Chelsea Medical Center, in Chelsea, Michigan. He was born April 29, 1914, in Wabash, Indiana, the son of Clyde and Nellie Sullivan Arrick. He married Charlotte Ensign on January 3, 1938, in Angola, Indiana, and she survives. He was a fireman for the bomber plant of Kaiser-Fraser Hydra­Matic, retiring in 1977. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church.

Survivors include: his wife, Charlotte, of Ypsilanti; a son, Robert Arrick, Jr., of Ypsilanti; four daughters, Janet Schaut, of West Olive, Michigan, Dr. and Mrs. Scott (Joyce) Smith, of Adrian, Michigan, Mrs. Rolland (Sharon) Sizemore, of Ypsilanti, and Mrs. Timothy (Mary) Branscomb, of Ypsilanti; eight grandchildren; a brother, George Arrick, of Melvindale, Michigan; two sisters, Mrs. Jerry (Jane) Brown, of Holbart, Oklahoma, and Margaret Meyer of Ypsilanti; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Washtenong Memorial Park, with Rev. Marvin Anderson officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Adult Recovery Center, 4090 Packard Road, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48104. Friends may call at the residence at 340 Hillcrest, Ypsilanti. Wagner-Stark Moore Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements.
