Daughter of Peter and Mary Troutman. Phoebe married Ephraim Widick on March 3, 1864 in Macon County, Illinois. They had 1 child, Vilette M. Widick. They divorced in December 1882. He died in 1887. Phoebe married Jeremiah Miller on March 1, 1888 in Decatur, Macon County, Illinois.

Mrs. Phoebe L. Miller, 84, wife of Jeremiah Miller, died at 8:45 p.m. Sunday at the family home on route 2 west of Decatur. She had been in failing health for several years, suffering from the infirmities of age.
Mrs. Miller's maiden name was Phoebe L. Troutman, she was a daughter of Peter and Mary Troutman and was born in Fulton county, Ind., May 23, 1947. The family moved to Macon county when she was a little girl and for over seventy-five years she had resided a few miles west of Decatur. She was one of a family of eight children, all but two of whom have passed away. A brother, Jacob Troutman of Atlanta, Kan. and a sister, Mrs. Julia Gulick, Decatur, are all that remain of her father's family. She was twice married, her first husband being Ephraim Widick. He died many years ago. She and Jeremiah Miller were married in 1886. She had one daughter by her first husband, Violet Widick, who died in infancy. There is one step-son, William Miller. She was a charter member of Sharon Methodist and was known to most of the old residents of the county. The body was taken to the Moran & Sons funeral home.
The funeral will be held at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Moran & Sons chapel. The burial will be held in the Wyckles cemetery.

Mrs. Phoebe L. Miller, 84, resident of Macon county for 75 years, died at 8:45 p.m. Sunday in her home on rule route 3 in Decatur township just west of the city. She had been in failing health for several years.
Phoebe Troutman was the daughter of Peter and Mary Troutman, Macon county pioneers. She was born in Fulton county, Ind. April 23, 1847, and came to Decatur with her parents when she was nine years old.
She was married to Ephriam Widick. A daughter, Violet Widick, died in infancy. After Mr. Widick's death she was married to Jeremiah Miller.
Surviving beside the husband are a stepson, William Miller; a brother, Jacob Troutman, Atlanta, Kas, and a sister, Mrs. Julia Gulick, Decatur.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Moran & Sons chapel. Burial will be in the Wyckles cemetery. The body is in the Moran funeral home.
