MARY LOUISE BURCH BURPO, AGE 86
And a resident of Houston, TX died Friday night May 8, 2009 at Sugarland Methodist Hospital. She was a native of Franklinton and graduated from Franklinton High in 1938 where she was a cheerleader. During that time she was a member of Mrs. Love's "Peter Pan Camp" and her best friend was Lilbourne Stafford Scheuermann. Mrs. Burpo was a longtime resident of Monroe and later moved to Houston where she became a medical transcriber. She enjoyed gardening and nature.

Daughter: Diane Burpo of Houston, TX

Brother: Robert E. Burch of Missouri City, TX

First Cousin: Billy Francis Landis of Jackson, LA

She was preceded in death by her husband Charles B. Burpo, parents Mary Edna Bateman Burch and Robert Reid Burch, and sister in law Bobbye M. Burch

A graveside funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday May 13th at Ellis Cemetery.
