Jess LaMont Murray, age 82, passed away on May 6, 2009.
Born to George Shields Murray and Mary Ann Shields on June 26, 1926 at Lakeview, Tooele, Utah.
He married Doris Loretta McArthur on May 16, 1952. He was raised in Pine Canyon, Utah and served for 26 years in the US Navy, serving in World War II, Korea, and Vietnam.
After serving his country he volunteered with the Davis County Search and Rescue and with the Davis County Sheriffs Department.
He is survived by his wife Doris, his daughter Mary Larson (late Larry Larson), son Dan Murray (Julie), and twin daughters Vicky Christensen (Kelly) and his favorite, Terry Tucker (Reilly), 13 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
No funeral will be held; a graveside service will be held in the Tooele City Cemetery on Monday, May 11, 2009.
