Elsie M. Crupper was born Sept. 16 1908. at Alexander. the daughter of Fred H. and Nora Stevens Gish. She was a 1927 graduate of Hutchinson High School. A longtime Hutchinson resident, she was a homemaker.
She belonged to the Hutchinson Bowling Association.
In July 1927, she married Joel Lester Crupper at Hutchinson. He died Jan. 3, 2001.
Survivors include a son, James S., Florissant, Mo. ; a brother, Robert Gish, Prescott, Ariz., a sister, Patricia Hacker, Grand Junction, Colo; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, William Dean and Richard Joel; an infant daughter, Geraldine Ann Crupper; two brothers, Fred Jr. and Walter Gish; three sisters, Madge Wickendoll, Fern Hart, and Arlene Gaines.
