Maureen T. Pierce, a longtime Buchanan resident , died Monday at Westledge Nursing Home. She was 82. She was a retired Customer Service Representative for NY Telephone in Peekskill. Maureen was born in Peekskill on November 5, 1919, the daughter of Edward and Delia Ford Ennis. She married Webster Pierce at Assumption Rectory in Peekskill on January 29, 1944. He survives and lives in Buchanan. She also belonged to the Buchanan Senior Citizens. Besides her husband, she is survived by three sons Terence of Verplanck, Edward of Los Angeles, CA and Timothy of Cortlandt Manor; also one sister Alice Hojnacki of Buchanan and eight grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sisters Ann Lent and Lucille Ennis. The Funeral Mass is Thursday at 10 am at St. Christopher's Church. Friends may call on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 at EDWARD F.
