**Katherine Harris Ford, lifelong resident of Ramona, Oklahoma died Wednesday April 18, 2001, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma at the age of 87 years. She was born October 17, 1913 at Ramona, to Frank and Cora Ann [Eades] Harris. She was reared and educated in the Ramona school system. She spent most of her working life as a licensed practical nurse with Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa. She was a member of the Ramona Extension Club, the Caney Valley Historical Society, Eastern Star, and the Tuesday Study Club. She enjoyed a variety of pastimes including sewing, cooking and fishing.
**Loving family members include two sons, Harold Ford of Bartlesville, Oklahoma and Raymond Ford of Arizona, seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; one sister, Helen Adcock, of Ramona; and several nieces and nephews.
**She was preceded in death by two brothers, Joe Harris and Frank Harris, Jr., two sisters Cora Neil Morgan and Mary Hatch, and a daughter-in-law, Ruth Ford.
**Graveside funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 21, 2001, at the Ramona Cemetery, with Reverend Roman Ward serving as officiating minister. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
