Henry King Goodwin (b 14 Dec 1847 Tubridge, VT)
son of Harvey King Goodwin and Martha C Stowell
His father died as a POW at Libby Prison, Richmond,VA 1862
Henry spent time in some Confederate prisons including Andersonville.

He was mustered in on the 21st day of November, 1863, to serve three years, in Capt. Joseph E. Fiske's company, Company H, 2d Regiment of Mass. Heavy Artillery, and he was discharged from the service of the United States on the 5th day of July, 1865, at Annapolis. It describes him as born at Roxbury, in the State of Vermont, and as eighteen years of age, five feet five inches high, light complexion, blue eyes, brown hair, and occupation when enrolled a clerk
