This is my Uncle Andrew. He was a wonderful man. He would come by our house and take us kids for rides in his car to the beaches in Indiana for the day. That would feel like a vacation from the big city of Chicago. He and his wife Anne had no children of their own so we were their family for the day.
He spent much of his free time doing volunteer work for the Red Cross in Chicago. He loved to work on what was called the "Coffee Truck" passing out coffee, doughnuts and other stuff to the firemen at big fires around the Chicago area.
