"Frank U. Ditzler, founder and owner of the former Lititz Shoe Co., died Thursday at Audubon Villa, Lititz, after a short illness.
He was 88 and lived at 39 W. Lincoln Ave., Lititz. Ditzler was the husband of the late Minnie Ober Ditzler, who died in February 1968.
He was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lititz, and Young Men's Business League, Lititz.
Born in Waldeck, Lancaster County, he was a son of the late Melicor and Mary Ulrich Ditzler.
He is survived by two children, Theora Keith, Los Angeles, Calif., and Margaret, wife of William Dengler, Lititz; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Emanuel U. Ditzler, Lititz, and a sister, Charlotte U. Saylor, Norristown."
