"Charles D. Doner, 86 of Stoutsville, a retired farmer, died at White Cross Hospital in Columbus Sunday at 3:30 a. m. He was born May 3, 1868, in Clearcreek Township, Fairfield County, a son of Nathaniel and Mary Ann Stewart Doner. He is survived by his widow, Etta Valentine Doner, whom he married 49 years ago. The deceased was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Stoutsville and held honorary membership on the church council. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p. m. at the residence, with the Rev. Frank Csaszar officiating. Burial will be in the Maple Hill Mausoleum. Friends may call at the Defenbaugh Funeral Home Monday evening and Tuesday morning, and at the residence after 2 p. m. Tuesday.
