Buford Bybee,born abt.1797 Franklin County,Va. When he was abt. 2 yrs.old the family migrated to Barren County.,Ky. He married Margaret Welsh in Barren County.,Ky. July 17,1818. He lived on Glovers Creek & owned land on Fallen Timbers Creek & Nobob Creek.In April 1823 he died on the Muster field which is believed to have been at the site of Glovers Creek Baptist church. He had an altercation with an individual & after a lot of excitement he died from a heart attack. He left a son that was only 11 days old, Logan Bybee. Buford's widow then gave their son his fathers name Buford Simeon Bybee
