Elizabeth's parents were John F. Adams born abt 1810 (in Cork Ireland) and Ann Moreton Born Sept 1824 (in Wellbottom Bermuda). Elizabeth's father John went to Bermuda while an engineer in the British army about 1840. About 1845 because of health problems he moved to New York and went to work as a construction engineer for the New York Railroad company (now known as the New York Central railroad). In about 1847 his wife Ann and their two daughters (they only had two children at the time Ellen and Harriett)moved from Bermuda to New York to be with John and eventually they had Elizabeth Ganger Adams on May 30, 1852. Elizabeth's father eventually moved to the State of California where he died in San Diego California on Dec 14, 1896 where he became rather famous for his involvement in the story of the Indian girl " Ramona "and the famous story written about her. Elizabeth married Jacob McKendrick Bruner on Feb 1, 1872 in Marion County (Kinmundy)Illinois. Eventually Elizabeth and Jacob had nine children together. Some of their children were born in Illinois and others in Texas after Jacob and Elizabeth moved to Fannin County Texas between 1887 and 1892. They purchased land about 15 miles north of Bonham Texas where they lived until they both died. Much of their farm property is still owned by their grandchildren and great grandchildren and some still live on the property or very close to it and they are farmers and ranchers in the area.

and died Jan 29, 1963 in Burkburnett Texas. He married Omma Elizabeth Bingham Nov 29, 1908 in Bonham Texas
2. Albert Erwin Bruner born Jan 22, 1892 in Leonard, Fannin County Texas and died May 23, 1972 in Fannin County Texas he is buried in New Hope cemetery in Fannin County Texas. He married Gertrude Chance Payne Mar 26, 1926 in Texas
3. John Preston Bruner born Feb 18, 1883 in Francher, Shelby County Illinois and died Dec 18, 1972 in Garland Texas he is buried in New Hope cemetery in Fannin County Texas.He married Melissa Estelle Freeman Mar 3, 1918 in Fannin County Texas.
4. George Ichabod Bruner (sometimes used the middle name of Higgenbotham)born Jan 28, 1881 in Francher Shelby County Illinois and died July 21, 1961 in Bonham, Fannin County Texas buried in the Danner Cemetery in Fannin County Texas. He married Nancy Elizabeth McGourick Jun 5, 1905 in Bonham Texas.
5. Mary (Molly) Bruner born Feb 23 1875 probably in Illinois aqnd she died Feb 5, 1904 in Illinois.
6.Lillian Irene Bruner born Sep 25, 1887 in Francher, Shelby county Illinois and died Apr 30, 1977 in Cleveland Oklahoma. She married an Alexander Henry Pigg on May 3, 1908 in Fannin County Texas.
7. Elizabeth Lois Bruner born Feb 2, 1896 in Telephone, Fannin County Texas and died Feb 12, 1972 in Texas. Her husband was a Joseph Hough.They were married about 1918.
8. Virgil Bruner Born Mar 14, 1872 in Francher Shelby County Illinois and died May 6, 1876 in Illinois.
9. Joseph Bruner born Apr 10, 1874 in Francher, Shelby County Illinois and died May 5, 1876 in Illinois.
