Obituary of Ernest T. Jamerson

Pamplin: Ernest Thomas Jamerson, 66, died unexpectedly Wednesday of a heart attack. He was born in Appomattox County son of Bryant Thomas Jamerson and Nannie Garrett Jamerson. He was a veteran of WWI and a retired farmer.

Surviving are his wife, Ruby Cobb Jamerson; five sons, C. Alfred Jamerson, Thomas C. Jamerson, Charles B. Jamerson, all of Pamplin, Walter B. Jamerson and Douglas Jamerson of Lynchburg; five daughters, Mrs. Ernestine Pankey of Salem, Mrs. Garrett Spear of Dundee, Fla., Miss Cornelia Jamerson of Wilmington, Mrs. Marilyn Anderson of Birmingham City, Utah, and Miss Linda Jamerson of Pamplin; two brothers, K.W. Jamerson and B.E. Jamerson, both of Pamplin; six sisters, Mrs. A.L. Crews, Mrs. Frank Irving, Mrs. Benny Massey, all of Pamplin, Mrs. Thomas C. Raine of Germany, Mrs. Russell Neely of Danville, Mrs. E.E. Roach of Hopewell; and 14 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2:30 p.m. at Robinson Funeral Home with burial in Prospect Methodist Church Cemetery.
