Kenneth was the son of John and Clara Cleland Peeples. He is survived by one son Bobby Peeples(Pat),one daughter Jeanette "Jib" P. Harris(Al), several Grandchildren and other relatives. He was predeceased by one daughter Sharlene Peeples.
Kenneth D. Peeples, 91, of Beaufort, widower of Edith V. Peeples, died Saturday, March 8, 2003, at Bay View Nursing Center. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Anderson Funeral Home. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, at Grays Hill Baptist Church, with burial in Pine Level Cemetery. Mr. Peeples was born November 24, 1911, in Early Branch, a son of Clara Jane Cleland Peeples and Johnnie Pierson Peeples. He retired as an air condition technician at Beaufort Naval Hospital, and was the owner and operator of Kenneth Peeples Painting Company for many years. He was a member of the National Rifleman's Association, the Angel Hunting Club, and the Hardee's Coffee Club. He was a member of Grays Hill Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Janette Harris of Kissimmee, Fla.; a son Bobby Peeples of Beaufort; a sister, Claudia Mae Hurt of North Augusta; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
