FORMER LOCAL RESIDENT DIES
Olaf Aaberg, 74, former Longmont resident, died in a Denver hospital Wednesday following a two-week illness.
Mr. Aaberg, who was born in North Aurdal, Norway, March 2, 1873, came to the United States in May 1901, and lived in Callender, Iowa, until he moved to Longmont in 1920. Five years ago he moved to Denver.
Surviving relatives are his wife, Mrs. Bertine Aaberg of Denver; three sons, Eric C. Aaberg, Denver; Ralph O., Portland, Oregon, and Oswald B. Aaberg of Mukwanago, Wisconsin; one daughter, Mildred D. Aaberg of Washington, D.C.; one brother, living in Norway, and four sisters, Mrs. Inga Severson of Longmont; Mrs. Clarence Karns of Des Moines, Iowa; and two other sisters, who live in Norway.
Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at
2 o'clock from Howe mortuary, Rev. Roy Benson officiating. Interment will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
