She was born July 20, 1886 at Woolsey, Arkansas, the daughter of Samuel W. and Martha E. "Mattie" (Stonesipher) Caudle. Her mother died in 1893, when Annie was six years old.
She and Lee Woolsey Pitkin were married December 3, 1905 in Washington County, Arkansas.
She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Lee Woolsey Pitkin; and a son, Lee Roy Pitkin; and a brother, William J. Caudle.
Survivors include three daughters, Melva G. Woods, Alma Opal Pitkin and Marie Eudora Swift; a half-brother; and a half-sister.
Burial is in Benton County Memorial Park, Rogers, Benton County, Arkansas.
