Last week Coroner Mosgrove was notified that a young woman named Ida Cave had died under suspicious circumstances and on Friday, he held a post mortem examination which showed that the unfortunate girl has died from the effects of an attempted abortion. An inquest was held this week which brought out some evidence involving a reputable physician of the neighborhood, Dr McLaughlin, but the Coroner's verdict is still in reserve.
