Services for Louis F. Paarmann, 78, of 405 E. Rushholme St., Davenport, will be 2:30 p.m. Monday in the Runge Chapel. Entombment will be in the Fairmount Mausoleum. Friends wishing to do so may contribute to their favorite charity.
Mr. Paarmann died at 3 a.m. Saturday in St. Luke's Hospital after a brief illness.
Born Oct. 26, 1881 in Davenport, he married Margaret Mengel June 24, 1914 in Davenport. He had been employed for 40 years by the Iowa-Illinois Gas & Electric Co., and was superintendent of the service department. He was a member of the fraternal lodge, AF & AM, for 50 years, of the Commandery and Kaaba Temple for 42 years.
Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Ralph (Kathryn) DeReus, Davenport; a son, L. Dean Paarmann, Newark, N.J., and six grandchildren.
