Funeral Wednesday

Funeral for Paul F. Galbraith, 89, of Elizabethtown will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Sandcreek Azalia Friends Meeting, with the Revs. Fred Darling and David Kinsey officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Myers Funeral Service, Hathaway-Myers Chapel on Pearl Street, and from noon until service time Wednesday at the church. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery at Seymour.

Memorials may be made to Sandcreek Azalia Friends Meeting.

Mr. Galbraith died at 11:55 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 20, 1998, at Four Seasons Health Care Center.

He was co-owner, president and manager of Azalia Elevator from 1935 to 1975. He had been a member of Sandcreek Azalia Friends Meeting since 1936 and was a former church trustee.

Mr. Galbraith was born in Hartsville May 12, 1909, the son of Glen W. and Pearl M. Brown Galbraith. He married Gertrude L. Meyer, who died in 1975. He married Pauline E. Allen Fodrea Nov. 20, 1976. She survives.

Also surviving are stepdaughters, Deanna Lathom of Bloomington and Connie Susong of Franklin, Ohio; half brothers, Glen W. Galbraith Jr. of Hope and Andrew J. Galbraith of Greensburg; a half sister, Phyllis McIntyre of Hope; five grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Herald H. Galbraith; a sister, Leah L. Foster; and a brother, Vyron D. Galbraith.
