St. Clair--Mark M. Zimmer, 66, of 321 S. Range Line road, Carmel, Ind., former St. Clair resident, died Thursday in Noblesville, Ind., after a long illness. He was born April 10, 1909, in Wisconsin.
He was head chef for many years at the St. Clair Inn. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth, three sons, Bernard Zimmer, Indianapolis, Ind.; Mark Zimmer Jr., St. Clair; Warren Zimmer, Marysville; a daughter, Mrs. Carol Hackenburg, Boston; three sisters, Mrs. Hazel Trump and Mary A. Zimmer, both of St. Clair; Regina Zimmer, Rutherford, N.J.; four brothers, Charles, Leo and Bernard J. Zimmer, all of St. Clair; and Joseph Zimmer, Cheybogan.
Funeral services will be Monday at 9:30 a.m. in the L. C. Friederichs and son Funeral Home, St. Clair, and at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Church. The Rev. Carl Hubbell, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited Sunday at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Remains will be in the funeral home after 7 p.m. Saturday.Visiting hours will be Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
