The son of Ray Clifton & Gretchen Maurine Vaughn Alexander.

He served his county during the Korean War in the US Air Force.

He married Lee Ellen Bagby 23 Jul 1953 in Harrison, Ark.

He was a retired credit manager from General Motors Finance. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Ft. Scott, he had served as President of the Lenexa School Board, was a member of the Solomon Lodge #71, Springfield, Missouri, Topeka Scottish Rite, American Legion Post #1, Topeka, Kansas, York Rite, Knight Templar, the Mirza Shrine, Honorary Divan of the Mirza Shrine of Pittsburg, Kansas, and Hiattville Order of the Eastern Star. He was a lifetime member of DeMolay as well as Master Counselor of the Springfield DeMolay.

Survivors include his wife, daughters Debbie Norris & Melissa Medill, five grandchildren & seven great grandchildren.
