The son of Clarence Lewis Moenning and Nita Maloa (Taylor) Moenning, he was born December 11, 1946 in Carthage, Missouri.
He married Delores Campbell on December 19, 1965 in Clarksville, Arkansas. He was a very loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Harold was a gentle, kind- hearted, fun-loving, family man whose favorite times were spent with his wife, children and grandkids. He also enjoyed canoeing the Buffalo River, camping, hunting, fishing and playful banter. Harold worked as a custom home builder. His father preceded him in death.
Survivors are his wife, Delores Moenning of the home; his mother, Nita Gough of Greenfield, Missouri; sons, Sonny Moenning and wife, Jody of Hartman, Arkansas, Jake Moenning and wife, Jodi of Vendor, and Jock Moenning of Mt. Judea; daughters, Sonia Villines and husband, Randall of Jasper and Rhonda Moenning of Mt. Judea; grandchildren, Randi, Wade, and Jesse Villines, Brett and Bailey LaFollette, and Hayden Moenning; and sisters, Ellen Morton of Leavenworth, Kansas and Aileen Peters of Charleston, South Carolina.
Visitation will be 6-8 P.M. Thursday, May 14, 2009 at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper. Service will be 2 P.M. Friday, May 15, 2009 at the funeral home chapel with Rodney Stromlund officiating. Burial will be in the Criner Family Cemetery in Mt. Judea.
Pallbearers are Sam Dye, Keith Slape, Larry Criner, Gary Don Millsap, J.L. Freeman, and Kenny Hill. Honorary pallbearers are Kent Meyer, Donald Haddock, Randall Criner, George Morton, and the staff of Legacy Hospice.
