LOWRY 'WAT' ADAMS, 74, of Memphis, retired printer for Memphis Publishing Co. for more than 40 years, died Thursday at Methodist Hospital North after a heart attack. Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Memorial Park. Memorial Park Funeral Home has charge. He was a World War II Navy veteran and an employee of McDonald's on Stage Road. Mr. Adams, the husband of Dorothy Adams for 52 years, also leaves a daughter, Dale Lumpkin of Memphis; a son, George Adams of Houston, Texas; a sister, Gloria Ferguson of Memphis; three brothers, J. V. Adams and Dudley Adams, both of Memphis, and Gus Adams of Arkansas, and three grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to the American Heart Association.
