He was the son of Thomas Benton and Sierra Nevada (McKoy) Hubbard. He married Joanna Josephine May, Jan, 11, 1898 in Sacramento, Sacramento Co., Calif. and had five children, Thomas Lester Hubbard, Wilbur Virgil Hubbard, Alberta Lucile Hubbard, Wesley Lauren Hubbard, and Grace Carol Hubbard, all born in San Jose.
Albert was a Santa Clara County Supervisor from 1904 to 1932.
