Janie Estella Sharp, age 62, of Austin, Texas, went to be with the Lord Friday May 8, 2009 in Austin,Texas. She was born to Salvador and Estela Valdez Dominguez in Laredo, Texas on September 7, 1946.
Janie is survived by her husband, DK Sharp of Austin,Texas; two sons, Steve Campos of Utah and Bobby Campos of Austin,Texas; four daughters, Cynthia and husband Jesse Guerrero of Round Rock, Texas, San Juanita and husband Jason Godusky of Wichita Falls,Texas, Maggie and husband Robert Garza of Georgetown,Texas and Christina (Sharp)Herrera of Elgin,Texas; seven sisters, Irma, Gloria,Yolanda, Connie, Maria, Chris and Lydia; one brother, Manuel Dominguez; nineteen grandchildren, Lisa Najera, Joseph Sanchez and Mike Selvera of all Round Rock,Texas, Garrett and Kathryn Godusky of both Wichita Falls,Texas, Josh, Bethany and Julian Garza of all Georgetown, Texas, Tracy and Josh Campos both of Austin,Texas. Ashley, Jasmine, Brianna, Stevie and Jaden Campos all of Utah, Alexis of Elgin,Texas and Robbie, Jennifer and Daniel all of South Carolina;four great-grandchildren, Isaiah, Laila, Christian and Elijah all of Round Rock, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceeded in death by her parents Salvador and Estela Dominguez and one nephew John Ochoa.
The family will receive guests for a time of visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, May 10,2009 at Cook-Walden/Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown,Texas. Funeral services will be Monday, May 11,2009 at Promiseland Georgetown Church in Georgetown,Texas at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Georgetown,Texas.
