Onawa, Ia. -- Special: James E. Beedle, 74, retired farmer and lifetime resident of the Onawa and Turin communities, died at his residence here Friday.
Mr. Beedle was born January 17, 1889 in Onawa.
He married Anna Miller February 8, 1911 at Onawa.
Survivors include the widow; three daughters, Mrs. Margaret Merritt of Hornick, Ia., Miss Mildred Beedle and Mrs. Francis Reed of Onawa; a son, Kenneth of Onawa; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and two brothers, Fred and Dewey, of Onawa.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Onawa First Christian church. Rev. Everett Epperson will officiate and burial will be in Onawa cemetery, with the Pierson funeral home in charge.
