Junior C. Feldmann, 41, of Elkhart Lake, died unexpectedly early today at St. Nicholas Hospital where he had been a patient for one week. Born July 10, 1926 in the Town of Rhine, he was a son of Mrs. Margaret and the late Arno Feldmann. The family moved to the Town of Russell where he attended the district school. Mr. Feldmann had been a resident of Elkhart Lake since 1942 and was employed by the village maintenance department. He was a veteran of World War II and served part of his tour of duty in Germany. He was a member of the Elkhart Lake Fire Department.
Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Margaret Feldmann of Elkhart Lake; four sisters, Mrs. Victor Theyerl of Fond du lac, and Mrs. Norman Burkhardt, Mrs. Alvin Meyer and Mrs. Arno Miller, all of Elkhart Lake and four brothers, LeRoy, Alfred and Ronald, all of Elkhart Lake and Howard of Plymouth.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Monday at the Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel, the Rev. Stanley Kuck, pastor of the Community United Church of Christ, Elkhart Lake, officiating. Burial will be in the Kiel Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 pm Sunday. Members of the Elkhart Lake Fire Department will meet at the fire station at 7 pm Sunday and go to the funeral home in the group.
