Tracey Alton Whitaker, 48, 68 Valley St., died this morning in Pulaski hospital following an extended illness. Born in Pulaski November 30, 1913, the son of the late Reuben A. and Mollie Hale Whitaker, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Quesenberry Whitaker; one son, Tracy Alton Whitaker Jr., Hampton; two brother, Guy Whitaker and Kyle Whitaker, both of Pulaski; three sisters, Mrs. Charley Doyle and Mrs. Fay Thaxter, both of Pulaski, and Mrs. Victor H. Linkous, Charlotte, NC. Also two grandchildren. Funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 am from Thomas M. Seagle and Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Angus Shaw officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
