Pete, 83, was a graduate of East Lake High School. He married Leota M. Barney on February 15, 1947 in Denver. He owned and operated the family farm east of Brighton and loved farming. Faith, family and his farm were first and foremost.
Surviving beside his wife were: sons Jim (Becky) Rock, Montrose, Brian Rock, Ft. Collins and Dave Rock, Brighton; sister Julie (Joe)Gavito, New Castle, Madge Riedel, Northglenn and Josephine Yakel, Denver; brother John Rock, Brighton; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Preceding were son Stanley in 1982 and son Timothy in 1956. Mass of Christian Burial held May 31 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 675 E. Egbert Street.
