MUSKOGEE, Okla. - Joy Bee Henderson, 82, died Thursday, July 3, 1997.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Grace Temple Baptist Church with the Rev. L.D. Green and Johnny Lee Jr. officiating. Burial will be at Kermit Cemetery in Kermit, Texas. Arrangements are by Cooper Funeral Chapel, Inc., of Kermit, Texas.
Mrs. Henderson was a homemaker. She was a Baptist and a member of Grace Temple Baptist Church in Kermit. She had been a resident of Kermit for more than 50 years before moving to Muskogee in 1997.
She was active as a Pink Lady for many years.
She married Evans Dawson Henderson in 1930 at Hollis. He died in 1971.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Patsy Henderson, in 1938.
Survivors include four sons, Riley D. Henderson of Keefton, Kenneth Henderson of Burgaw, N.C., Terry Henderson of Wink, Texas, and Larry Henderson of Houston; two daughters, Wanda Cooper of Stigler, and Peggy Baker of Pampa, Texas; 18 grandchildren; several greatgrandchildren; and several great-greatgrandchildren.
