LAKELAND – James Dement Weaver, of 817 Fountainview Lake Drive, died Monday (Dec. 12, 1983) at Lakeland Regional Medical Center.
A native of Fulton, Ky., he came to Lakeland from Covington, Ky. six years ago. He was a retired baseball player and a member of the United Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth Weaver, Lakeland, sons Rodney Kenneth Weaver, Fort Mitchell, Ky., Raymond M. Weaver, Tampa and Lloyd A. Weaver, Anderson, S.C., brothers, Robert Weaver, Daytona Beach, and Myron Weaver, Georgia, and sisters, Ava Love, Ora Pearl, and Nola Mae, all of Clinton, Ky.
