September 3, 1954 "Atchison Daily Globe"
Atchison, Kansas
Henry T. Davidson, 81, of Huron, until recently mail messenger between Huron Post Office and Missouri Pacific Depot and part time employee of Geiger Filling Station, died at 5 a.m. today at St. Joseph's Hospital where he was taken Sunday. He was born on September 23, 1872 in Decatur, Illinois to Isaac and Pheba (Larkin) Davidson. At the age of 20, he moved with his parents to Oberlin where he married Miss Lillie Teeter on October 12, 1898. Survivors are his wife, Lillie, of the home; son, Milton Davidson of Highland; daughters, Leta Goolsby and Virginia Moody, both of Auburn, Nebraska; four sisters, Nettie Teeter of Huron, Stella Lyon and Mattie Carver, both of Alva, Oklahoma, and Sarah White of Alvadore, Oregon; a brother, Cline Davidson of Redding, California; and three grandchildren. Mr. and Mrs. Davidson reared a grandson, Percy Lee Stewart, who died two years ago while serving in the Army.
