Graveside services for Virgie Sartin Watts, 94, of Missouri City, TX and formerly of Natchez, who died Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at First Colony Health and Rehab in Missouri City, TX, will be at 1:00 p.m. at New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery near Brookhaven.

Burial will follow at New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until service time at New Prospect Baptist Church.

Mrs. Watts was born September 3, 1921 in Gloster, the daughter of Jake Robert Sartin and Jessie Boone Sartin.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy “Tip” Watts, four brothers, J.L., Paul, Elmo, and Robert Sartin, and four sisters, Helen Sample, Geneva Daquilla, Claudine White, and Maxine Biglane.

Survivors include her two sons, Tom Fore of Houston, TX and Keith Watts and his wife, Marie, of Missouri City, TX; five grandchildren: Care Fore, Hope Fore, Corey Watts and his wife, Jennifer, Ashley Watts and Taylor Watts; and three great grandchildren: Devon Stanley, Zoey Dare Wigginton, and Braden Watts.

Pallbearers will be Corey Watts, Devon Stanley, Mike Biglane, Robbie Biglane, and Ricky Johnston.
